The Sarkisian Foundation’s primary goal is to support ambitious students interested in pursuing higher education in the arts and engineering, as well as institutions that support the same.
The Support
Based on demonstrated interest in the subject and financial need, yearly scholarship / grant support is provided potentially over multiple years if students / institutions show continued interest, need, and proficiency. Special consideration is given to students / institutions who are interested in combining studies in both the arts and engineering.
The Students
The Foundation supports students entering college and/or applying for residencies, as well as those specifically pursuing advanced studies beyond a bachelor’s degree. Students passionate about making a difference in their fields of study through a creative and meaningful approach to the work are eligible. The goal is to help reduce, if not eliminate financial challenges and/or student loans.
The Institutions
The Foundation supports high schools, universities, and research institutions that are committed to educating students through challenging, imaginative, and diverse curricula dedicated to the arts and engineering.
The Opportunities
The Foundation offers specific scholarships and grants in the following subjects: Visual Arts, Liberal Arts, Engineering, Architecture, and Performing Arts. Visit Subjects menu to learn more. Students and institutions interested in residencies and research can find more information on our Grants page.
